Up for Sale Bus Conversion, 1964 GM PD-4106

When someone has decided to begin life on wheels, may this one has a lot of potentials to replace a home. This sweet vintage bus was manufactured by GM Truck and Coach Division for US bus operators at 60's era, as shown here is a GM PD-4106 model built in 1964 no mention of which operator was served by him, it doesn't matter as long as no has hidden issue, all looks has a good shape and hoped all works properly as is look.


Originally for its era, the PD-4106 model was designed in cooperation between GM (not yet GMC) & Greyhound to be the heart of their fleet in the 60s and has a good reputation as a sports bus, faster and lighter than other brands and models, thanks to the aluminum construction and beefier engine they have. This coach has 35 feet long and carries an awesome 2-stroke 8V71 Detroit Diesel engine backed by Allison Automatic transmission, by the way, love and miss hearing them scream.

Features:
8V71 Detroit Diesel w/Allison automatic transmission, four independent airbag suspensions for ride adjustment or minor leveling when parked, 7.5 watt diesel generator with 202 hrs. since new, Aqua Hot diesel furnace with front, rear and holding tank heaters each separate. There is a heat exchanger between the bus and AquaHot that allows the bus to be heated while running not using the furnace but just the blower. It also heats hot water so that you could take a shower on arrival and have hot water available. Front window defoggers and driver heat, radio, CB (inop), backup camera, tow package with electric brake module. Power steering (single finger steering), air brakes, Alcoa polished aluminum wheels with tire pressure monitors, Michelin tires with lots of tread, Custom stainless steel exhaust, front glider kit with marker lights, dual headlights, side turn signals along the side of bus, all batteries have charging systems and are recent, 50 foot umbilical, discharge fittings for gray water with flexible hose, two 20 gallon portable propane bottles for stove and refrigerator, large holding tanks, self-contained air hose that will reach all tires, one complete under buss heated cargo bay with very large capacity, five ton hydraulic jack, large retractable awning, complete manuals for bus, maintenance, and installed equipment. 120 gallon fuel tank and Class IV Tow package.
